1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Rev & Read mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App. If you are a parent or guardian agreeing on behalf of a child, you represent that you have the authority to bind the child to these Terms.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any commercial or public performance
• Attempt to circumvent any security features or access restrictions
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

3. Age Requirements

Rev & Read is designed for children ages 4-7 years old. The App is intended to be used under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or teacher.

Parental Supervision: We strongly encourage parents and guardians to supervise their children's use of the App. While the App is designed to be child-friendly and does not collect personal information from children, parental involvement enhances the learning experience.

4. In-App Purchases

The App is free to download and includes Levels 1-3 at no cost. A one-time purchase is available to unlock the full content (Levels 4-10).

• No subscriptions: This is a one-time purchase, not a recurring subscription
• Family Sharing: The purchase is compatible with Apple Family Sharing
• Restore Purchases: You can restore your purchase on any device signed into the same Apple ID

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. We recommend enabling parental controls on your device to prevent unauthorized purchases.

5. Refunds

All purchases are subject to Apple's App Store refund policy. We do not directly process payments or issue refunds.

To request a refund: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support directly. Refund requests are handled at Apple's discretion according to their policies.

6. Content

Rev & Read provides educational phonics content designed to help children learn to read through connected phonation (blending sounds).

The App includes:

• 100 carefully selected phonics words across 10 levels
• Audio pronunciations for letters, blends, and complete words
• Interactive BLEND-SAY-SPELL learning activities
• Progress tracking (stored locally on your device only)
• Rev the race car character and educational animations

All content is designed to be age-appropriate, ad-free, and focused solely on educational outcomes.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to:

• The Rev character and associated artwork
• Audio recordings and sound effects
• Educational content and word lists
• User interface design and animations
• The Rev & Read name and logo

are owned by Rev & Read and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from the App without our prior written permission.

8. Disclaimers

Educational Tool Only: Rev & Read is designed as a supplementary educational tool. It is not intended to replace professional reading instruction, special education services, or evaluation by qualified educators.

No Guarantees: While our methodology is based on research-backed phonics principles, every child learns differently. We cannot guarantee specific learning outcomes or timelines.

As-Is Basis: The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rev & Read and its developers, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or device malfunction
• Inability to use the App
• Any reliance on information provided through the App
• Any learning outcomes or educational results

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App, if any.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.

Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Rev & Read operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
